A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph sweet baby "C"! This little 2-month old was so easy going, and absolutely beautiful. She has 3 sisters, and every single one of them are GORGEOUS!! Mom and Dad sure do a good job of creating the most beautiful children! Thanks for being so patient "N" with our construction. Meet one of the most genuinely nice families ever, the "A" family!! I have the pleasure of living right next door to these amazing folks. They didn't move in too long ago, but I already feel like I have been neighbors with them forever. So friendly, and always so willing to help with anything. I was super honored when they asked me to take some updated pictures for them for their adoption profile. This family is AMAZING and any child that gets to join their family is going to be one lucky little person! Can't wait for what the future holds for you guys.

Man, how time flies!! It seems like yesterday I was taking this little guy's one year old pictures, and it seems like the day before that he was born and we were doing his newborns! Sheesh . . . Anyhow, let me re-introduce you to the most darling little cowboy that ever walked the earth! Love this little guy, and love these pictures!! Loved taking them at the ranch his family used to board their horses at. Little "K" was so pre-occupied with the tractors and the horses, he could have cared less about me and my camera. I absolutely loved capturing his personality in his element. "K", you are so stinkin' cute and are you have got to be kidding me with those big blue eyes!" Enjoy the preview.

Such a FUN, FUN shoot! How could it not be with such cute kiddos! I felt privileged to photograph these sweet kids. Their Mom is actually my Sister's, Sister-in-law (whom she adores I might add). It was such a treat to spend some time with them and get to know them better. Little Baby J, was wide awake for quite a bit of the session, but we were finally able to get him to sleep and get the sleeping shots we wanted. Thanks for being so patient L. So I found this old vintage typewriter at DI! For me to find something cool at DI is unheard of because I rarely go there even though I hear you can find quite the treasures for photo props. I knew I needed it right when I saw it! Come to find out, it is worth some serious cash. Hubby thinks I should sell it, but I just can't part with it. It is too much of a treasure for pictures. So fun to pull it out and just see how it photographed.

So, It's only been a few months since I took these pictures. . . But who says its too late to post a few. My amazing family had a fabulous vacation this past summer at Newport Beach. Between Manhattan, Indiana, Reno, Utah and Wyoming, it is very hard to get everyone together. Therefore we could not miss this opportunity to update the family picture. She gave me a few minutes in front of the camera and then was done (typical 2-year old). Not a big deal because the few minutes she gave me were plenty to catch her personality and beauty. Man, I'll tell you, eight kids, 8 years old and younger (w/ three 2 year olds mind you) is definately a challenging photo shoot. These kids were an absolute blast to take pictures of. 90% of the pictures are wild w/ at least one kid running out of the picture or looking the wrong direction, but you know what, that is who they are. They would much rather play with each other than get their silly pictures taken. Who'd blame them?

I know, it has taken me way toooo long to get these Hawaii pictures on my blog. I came home so excited to get them on and then bam, we all got strep throat. Then, life just got busy as it always does. Anyway, better late than never I guess. I'm not so good at this blogging thing.

Maui was absolutely amazing. We braved the crazy long airplane ride with the kids because we knew how much fun they would have once we got there. It was a blast! We spent most of our time on the beach, boogie boarding, body surfing, building sandcastles, searching for sea shells and watching for whales from the shore (We planned the trip so that it would be the peak whale season. I can't get enough of the humpback whales that migrate down from Alaska to mate and give birth this time of year.)

I had the opportunity to photograph my sweet friends newborn baby today. She was absolutely adorable. I couldn't have asked for a better newborn. Little K slept and slept and slept. She was so stinkin sweet. So many cute ones to choose from. Enjoy!

Where's Treyson?

So the other night we were getting ready to put the kids to bed. Chloee usually goes to bed before Treyson, but earlier that day she took a late nap. Therefore she was just wired. Anyway, we got Treyson all ready and left him in his room to read books. I heard him yell "Where's Chloee?" once, but other than that he got quiet real fast. I figured he was fast asleep. A bit later I went up to Chloee's room to put her down. I seriously about jumped out of my skin when I saw Treyson fast asleep in her crib. That crazy little dude. He thought that would be pretty funny, until he fell fast asleep himself.

FUN in the Snow!

Just a little cold! BRRRRR!

With all of the snow we have been getting lately, I finally took the kids out to play in it a couple of weeks ago. (I know late post, not so good at this blogging thing.) We had a great time. My kids are seriously so much fun. Treyson and I snowboarded down the driveway on his slick sled. That kid has some serious coordination. He also thought it was pretty funny to throw snow balls at me. Lucky for me, the snow was not easy to compact and in one picture you can see it literally blowing up in his face. Ha ha. Reno, Nevada

I had the awesome opportunity this past weekend to travel to Reno, Nevada (without my kids, Thank you Casey!) for a girls/sisters weekend. My oldest sister, Gina, lives in Reno and hosted us for the weekend. We went to the "So you think you can dance" tour and had a great time. I have never been away from my kids for a couple of days and missed them dearly but had such a fun time with all of my sisters. I love you all, and thank you again to everyone that helped and made this weekend possible for us! While I was there, I took advantage of the opportunity to do a family shoot for my sister and her sweet family of boys! Absolutely adorable. Enjoy!

Last week I had the opportunity to shoot a Friend's family pictures. The family was fantastic and we had a great time even though it was absolutely freezing outside. Everyone, especially the kids were total troopers. I have so many great pix from this shoot but do not have all of them proofed. I'll probably share more soon. Enjoy!

I had the opportunity to do family shoot for this adorable family of 3 w/ one on the way, a couple of weeks ago and had to share a few. What a fun time I had chasing little J around, trying to capture his fun, spunky personality. Mom & Dad were great sports and I think the pictures turned out great! ENJOY!

Happy Halloween

I know I am totally late to post Halloween pictures but I had to share just a few. Halloween with my darling kids is always a fun adventure. T truly doesn't think it gets any better than to dress us (which he loves to do anyway), knock on someones door, say "trick or treat" and they give him candy. Little C did not know what to do with herself this year also. She absolutely loved it. She was very independent and wanted to go to every door she could see. Her main problem was that she was not so good at only taking one piece. She tended to grab a major handful so we had to help her put candy back at every door that let her pick. Happy late Halloween!

Temple Square w/ my Family

My sweet sister flew into town with two of her boys for a visit. My parents are serving a mission on Temple Square so C, T & I took the opportunity to drive to SLC to meet them and my little sis, walk around, learn AND of course take a few pictures. We had such a great time and thoroughly enjoyed getting a little taste of what my parents get to do everyday. The spirit is amazing on Temple Square. Thanks Mom and Dad! We love you all so much! We will never forget this day.

This photo shoot was actually during the summer but I am trying to get some pictures posted so people can get an idea of the types of pix I love to take. This family was an absolute treat to take pictures of. I don't think you could take a bad picture of them if you wanted to. Sweet H did not stop smiling and we had a great time taking lots of photos with Mom & Dad also. This shoot was so relaxed and fun, and definately fueled my passion for my love of photography.

This photo shoot was so fun. These girls are absolutely darling and both have great personalities. Little L is so photogenic and had no problem posing for the camera.
